Moscow to Host Fifth Forum of CIS Scientists and Intellectuals

Moscow will host the fifth forum of scientists and intellectuals of the CIS countries on Oct.14-15.

The event will be held at the Moscow State International Relations Institute under the theme "Innovation and Humanitarian Partnership - the basis of the dynamic development of the CIS", the Azerbaijani Youth and Sports Ministry told Trend today.

The main objective of the forum is a joint discussion of important issues and prospects of partnership in scientific, educational, cultural and youth policy, as well as identification of practical measures. Thus, the final resolution of the forum, pointing out the real priorities of cooperation in the humanitarian field, will give an impetus to the organization of practical work in this direction.

The forum is held by the CIS Council for Humanitarian Cooperation and the CIS Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation.

The forum will hold discussions in the following specialized chambers: "Education, academic and labor mobility of young people", "Science, Technology and Innovation", "Historical and cultural heritage and contemporary art", " Media, literature and publishing" and " Cultural-cognitive tourism", as well as hold an exhibition of "Innovative projects of the CIS countries' youth and other interesting activities.

Azerbaijani Deputy Youth and Sports Minister Intigam Babayev will represent the country at the event. He will also make a speech at the specialized chamber "Supporting young people of the CIS".  The device made by the young scientists of the ANAS Physics Institute, Narminaa Babayeva, will be demonstrated at the exhibition of innovative projects.
