The President of Germany Christian Wulff, currently on a two-day visit in Turkey, addressed the Turkish Parliament.
Speaking about the Armenian-Turkish reconciliation process, Wulff attached importance to the opening of the border from the perspective of regional stability.
“We support the process of normalization of relations between your country and Armenia. The opening of the border will be beneficial from the perspective of regional stability,” he said.
The German President also touched upon the Cyprus issue, the Turkish-Israeli relations, Iran’s nuclear programs, etc.
