The World Turkic Forum, organized by Turkish-Asian Center for Strategic Studies (TASAM) in the "Grand Cevahir Hotel", the main theme of which was "Turkic Council, Turkic diaspora and Socio-economic cooperation", completed.
The topic on "False Armenian genocide, Turkic diaspora and partnership" was discussed on the last day of the forum with the representatives of the Turkic countries and diaspora from 60 world countries. Azerbaijani MP Ganira Pashayeva, participating in the discussions, told the participants about the genocide, committed by the Armenians against peaceful Azerbaijani population in the early 20-th century and late century.
She said that all Turks, regardless of where they live, must intensify their efforts to inform the world about the atrocities of the Armenians. She recalled the words of President Aliyev. During the Congress of Turkic peoples, he said that we must move from defense to attack. She spoke about the work carried out by Azerbaijan in this direction. She said that all Turks must combat the Armenians' lie about "Armenian genocide", Azerbaijan and its integral part - Karabakh, which they are trying to spread around the world.
"Today the Armenian Diaspora and lobby are trying for the parliaments of other countries to make decisions to prosecute those who deny the" Armenian genocide". Each our compatriots living abroad and all Turks must conduct a joint struggle to prevent this. Armenians will conduct their activity by 2015 for the world countries to recognize the 100-th anniversary of Armenian genocide.
Let's think, this will be a strong blow for all Turks. Naturally, the Turks will deny this Armenian lie. It is difficult to imagine the challenges they face in these countries. Therefore, the Turks together must combat this lie and intensify their efforts to inform the world public about the Khojali genocide committed by Armenians, " she added.
She stressed a significant role of not only NGOs and diaspora, but also media outlets in this matter. She said that the media outlets can play a great role in this issue. She also spoke about the Internet, calling for young people to use the Internet to combat Armenian lie and distribute the truth.
