We will arrange a news conference and present our proposals to the Armenian community.
The leader of Powerful Turkey party and its members are preparing to visit Armenia on October 28, beyazgazete website reports with reference to party leader Tuna Beklevich.
“Armenian and Turkish young people are not hiding behind the borders. They come out and shout that the border must open. We have develop a plan of actions of 31 points. On October 28, I, personally, together with my team will leave for Yerevan”, said the Turkish political figure, specifying the plan of the visit.
“We will arrange a news conference and present our proposals to the Armenian community in Yerevan. We will request a meeting with Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and ask him to comment on our proposals. Then we will present the opinion of the Armenian community on this issue to Turkish FM Ahmet Davutoglu. We will also meet the president and the prime minister of Turkey. In other word, there will not be a single door which we will have not knocked at.
Noting that the plan of their actions was developed after talks with 40 Armenian public organizations and the congress held in Istanbul, Beklevich said the start to Zurich 2 has been given,
The news about the party and its leader were actively spread in press after he said that he crossed the Turkish border with Armenia together with the party members. He said that by such a step they wanted to remind the parties about the Armenian-Turkish protocols signed in Zurich a year ago and urge them to open borders.
Tuna Beklevich has said recently that his party is preparing to hold a referendum about opening of the border in Kars.
