E-mail Print PDF

The presidents of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia have discussed ways to settle the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

The talks were held this afternoon in the Russian city of Astrakhan on the Caspian coast, the Russian presidential website reported.

This was the seventh time that Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliyev have met with the mediation of Russian President Dmitriy Medvedev and the third such meeting this year.

At the last meeting in St Petersburg in June, the updated version of the Madrid Principles for the basis of talks were presented.

Today's talks were the initiative of the Russian president.
