U.S. is concerned for Armenia not to withdraw its signature from Armenia-Turkey Protocols, one of the leaders of Armenia’s Dashnaktsutyun Party, Giro Manoyan told the reporters on Friday, commenting on the current stage of Armenia-Turkey relations.
At the meeting with Armenian Parliament Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, Swiss Foreign Minister stated Armenia-Turkey process cannot stop halfway. According to him, Switzerland, officially presented as a mediator, carries out U.S. instructions. “I cannot understand why the process cannot be stopped. It can and should be stopped. However, U.S. will make every effort for Armenia not to withdraw its signature from the documents, Manoyan said.
According to him, Armenia’s withdrawal of signature is in its own interests.
