Eldar Tagiyev, who was captured by Armenia, has been handed over to Azerbaijan, APA reported. The handover process took place on the line of contact near Bala Jafarli village of Gazakh region, in the neutral zone on Gazakh-Ijevan road.
Azerbaijan handed over the body of Armenian serviceman Manvel Mamikonovich Saribekyan to Armenia.
The representatives of the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons, International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) were present in the process.
Resident of Alibeyli village of Tovuz region, Tagiyev Eldar Heydar, 47, was fired at near the line of contact in Alibeyli village at 18.00 on December 28, 2009, then he was captured by Armenian servicemen.
Manvel Saribekyan was detained with a number of reconnaissance devices on September 11, this year when the provocation group of Armenians was prevented in the north-western direction of the front. He hanged himself by tying his shirt to the bed-sheet in the temporary detention facility at 3 on October 5.
