The postponed voting on recognition of “NKR” in the Armenian parliament has demonstrated the absence of any strategic vision of Armenian authorities.
Existence of this bill in the Armenian parliament is used by the authorities in the negotiation process as a step of influence on the position of Azerbaija and is considered a strategic political decision by the country’s leadership. However, this is just the opinion of authorities and nobody else.
It is clear for the research centers of the world that it is unreal to attain the passing of this bill.
In the result of Sargsyan’s policy, Armenia cannot risk the participation in the war with Azerbaijan, since it is unclear against whom arms will turn in case of the start of hostilities. The split in the Armenian public, which occurred under Kocharyan and continues under his worthy follower Serzh Sargsyan led to the fact that a greater part of the public treats the ruling elite and half-criminal elements at power through the year of independence with hatred.
Armenian youth has never seen Azerbaijanis and hates them for the reason of the promotion of hatred at television, while they see the choosy oligarchs with their bald-headed bodyguards and impudent children of the no less impudent parents every day and the hatred is even growing and renewed every day.
The impunity within the Armenian public in relation to oligarchs and their families and children breeds the feeling of hatred among the majority of the population. This is not the furious capitalism and even not the starting period of accumulating the capital, this is a real game into the same gates, when people lose. The country, whose budget is cracking, where oligopoly is accepted as norm of living, cannot be a place of implementation of ideas and development.
The shadow part of economy has dominated over the lighter sides already for long. Incompetent persons, without the burden of intellect, sit in the parliament and the government, trying to demonstrate themselves as the leaders of the people whom they hate more than anything. The facelessness is growing so wider than sometimes even the leaders of the country complain about the surrounding saying there are so many wheedlers around them in the result of the absence of professional staff.
It is bitter to see rich thieves using sops in the diaspora structures or funds to restore Artsakh-Nagorno Karabakh as an indulgence to remove sins before the people.
To all the statements that an official or a deputy line not in line with the law, we hear the anti-arguments: “but he supports ‘Artsakhis’… transferred $10m to the fund… his brother is a multimillionaire in Russia…”.
But can anyone tell me for example the special talents of the chief of the Armenian presidential administration except for being a relative with a half-criminal element, the Russian citizen.
Unfortunately, it should be stated that the Armenian public will need much time to heal from this sickness. The state is even worsening, since the figures of the ruling regime, used to comfortable apartments in the Northern avenue, send young families to the mined and not worked lands of lower “Artsakh”. They speak so much about the settlement of the lands, though they sometimes visit Artsakh to fill their reserves of mulberry vodka and eating cheap shashlik, which is more expensive in Yerevan.
