Next conference of Socialist International was held in Paris.
According to Co-chair of Azerbaijan Social Democratic Party Araz Alizadeh, leaders of leftist organizations and officials of several countries joined the conference.
Secretary General of the Socialist International Luis Ayala spoke about the solution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict. According to him, he observed that Azerbaijani and Armenian Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Serzh Sarkisyan are interested in solving of the conflict peacefully, during his visits to Azerbaijan and Armenia. He noted that, the refugees might return their homes after the solution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
Iraqi President Jalal Talabani also spoke at the conference. He spoke about the processes, steps on the solution of problems, support of word union for forming of democracy in Iraq.
According to Co-chair of ASDP, his and Dashnaksutyun representative’s speech was postponed. Because of, J. Talabani’s speech has taken more 40 minutes. That’s why the proposals of ASDP and Dashnaksutyun on the solution of conflict were not discussed. At the same time, the declaration on Nagorno Karabakh problem was not adopted.
