NATO cannot play any role in the resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen has said during an interview with the Azerbaijani ANS TV.

“I don’t think NATO can play any role in the settlement of the Karabakh conflict. Our strategic concept on the Central Asian countries is aimed at developing and seeking new ways of cooperation. And such cooperation is not restricted to fighting drug business in Afghansitan. I do really want the cooperation to develop,” Azerbaijani news agency 1news.az quoted him as saying.
