'New war for Karabakh to have hard implications for the region', said former Georgian ambassador in Russia Zurab Abashidze.

Head of the Georgian institute of Russian research, former Georgian ambassador in Russia has commented on the issue whether he sees the end to the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict and can the resolution influence the Russian-Georgian relations.

'This issue concerns me like all others. Naturally, the resolution of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, or serious progress in this issue will cause positive achievements related to our problem. On the other hand, if the things proceed by the destructive script, this will influence all other regions, therefore, I read the messages from Azerbaijan and Armenia with a great worry'.

According to the political scientists, his colleagues-politicians speak of possible military actions, which will have grave implications not only for the region but also in the wider sense.

'Sometimes I hear some statements that the possible resumption of military actions is growing. For example, the conflict situations on borders, fire exchanges, tensions between the two countries and the very state of unsettledness does not remove such a possibility. This concerns me, because it will have the greatest implications for the whole region'.
