Armenia should overcome its “historical complications”, as once some European states did, President Emeritus of the OSCE PA Goran Lennnmarker told a press conference in Yerevan on November 26.
According to him, today Armenia is in a difficult condition, as 2 out of its 4 borders are closed. The international community welcomes the start of Armenia-Turkey rapprochement, having a complicated past.
“Both Armenia and Turkey should not be afraid of their history. At present, there are forces in Turkey who are for further normalization process,” he said.
According to him, reconciliation is of great significance for Armenia, Turkey, Europe and Karabakh peace process as well.
