Presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkey Ilham Aliyev and Abdullah Gul met in Astana on December 1.
According to the official website for the Azerbaijani president, during the meeting the sides expressed satisfaction with the successful development of friendly and fraternal relations between the two countries and confidence about their further strengthening.
The Turkish president congratulated the head of the state with the successful completion of parliamentary elections in the country.
The head of the states conducted wide exchange of views around the resolution of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno Karabakh.
