Adam Schiff Considers Wikileaks Reports On Armenia “Enormously Troubling”

Congressman Adam Schiff labeled the WikiLeaks-published documents concerning Armenia as “enormously troubling”.

Speaking of the letter sent by Deputy Secretary Negroponte, congressman Schiff, who has been a supporter passage of Armenian resolution in the Congress, said that it is troubling, Glendale News-Press reported. Adam Schiff has long advocated for deeper U.S.-Armenia ties as well.

The British Guardian referring to infamous WikiLeaks website published rather strong-worded letter (as of December 24, 2008) by the U.S. high ranking official addressed to the Armenian government. The U.S. threatens with sanctions unless Armenia stops transportation of weapons to Iran through its territory resulted in a killing of American soldiers in Iraq.
