Wikileaks May Later Release Classified Information On Armenia

There is no point in stating WikiLeaks spared Armenia, as only 600-700 out of 250.000 confidential documents were released, Razmik Zohrabyan, Vice-Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) told NEWS.am, commenting on whether Armenia is in the list of WikiLeaks “targets.”

“As it is known, WikiLeaks already published documents on Armenia, an alleged arms transfer to Iran via Armenia in 2003. I refuted this reports. This is an unfounded accusation. Armenian Government did not officially respond to WikiLeaks publications. It is an absurd statement as the information both on countries and leaders is not reliable. This is a premeditated PR action.

WikiLeaks may later release classified information on Armenia. However, I should say Armenia and US are on friendly terms. We could not have supplied arms to Iran to kill American servicemen in Iraq,” Zohrabyan emphasized.

As NEWS.am reported previously, on November 28, the release of more than 250,000 U.S. embassy cables by WikiLeaks revealed previously secret information on American intelligence gathering, and political and military strategy.
