'Armenia is not an independent state and it is unable to adopt any solution on Nagorno Karabakh without an external order'.
This statement came from MP and political scientist Rasim Musabeyov commenting on the 'recent recognition' of separatist 'NKR' by Armenia.
'Armenia itself will be unable to remove implications of the resolution on the recognition of separatist regime of 'NKR', therefore the talks about it are intended for internal Armenian public to show that the ruling regime in Armenia is taking some steps in the response to stiffening positions of Azerbaijan', Musabeyov said.
'Today Russia is striving to intensify peace talks and the talks of the Armenian side about the recognition of 'NKR' on this background seemed initially not serious.
The OSCE summit in Astana was generally unsuccessful not only on the Karabakh negotiation process and Russia now wants to demonstrate that it realizes the need to push the negotiation process forward', the political scientist said.
