E-mail Print PDF

Azerbaijan has sent a letter of protest to president of the European parliament and chairman of the committee on cooperation with the South Caucasus.

The protest is related to the demonstration of a film  based on false materials during the session of the Armenian delegation with the representatives of the European parliament.

'The Azerbaijani representation in EU has sent a letter of protest to the president of the European parliament and chairman of the committee for cooperation with the South Caucasus countries', said spokesman for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Elkhan Polukhov.

'The letter says the information about the monuments of history of Azerbaijan, as well as the destructions of the Azerbaijani monuments of culture, history and religion in both Armenia and the occupied lands was falsified. The letter also stated inadmissibility of such a propaganda action', he said.

The film demonstrated by Armenians presents false and untrue information.
