Azerbaijan Expects OSCE Report To Reflect 'Armenian Vandalism'

E-mail Print PDF

Azerbaijan hopes for an objective report by an OSCE field assessment mission to parts of its territory occupied by Armenia, a senior MP has said.

Bahar Muradova, a deputy speaker of parliament, recalled that the last field assessment mission took place five years ago.

"The vandalism of Armenians was reflected in the report prepared then," she said.

"I hope and expect that they will carry out a similar mission again, because over the last five years the vandalism of the Armenians has expanded. They have destroyed Azerbaijani cultural monuments and evidence of towns and villages belonging to Azerbaijan," Bahar Muradova said.

The OSCE mission took place from 4 to 14 October. Its report is to be presented to Azerbaijan and Armenia in January.
