E-mail Print PDF

The Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine gave instructions on carrying out investigation in connection with whether the law resolution on Armenian genocide adopted by the Supreme Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea was law-governed or not, Head of Crimea Azerbaijanis community Rahim Humbatov told.

Prosecutor General of Ukraine Prosecutor’s Office also has been tasked to take appropriate measures for investigation of decision on recognition of the "Armenian genocide" by the Uzhgorod City Council. Deputy Prosecutor Vitaly Zanfirov sent a letter to Humbatov in connection with these instructions.

Remind that, an investigation related to adoption of the Crimean Parliament resolution on the recognition of “Armenian genocide” has revealed that it distrubs regulations of Ukrainian Constitution, the Constitution of the Crimean Autonomous Republic and the Regulations of the Supreme Rada of Crimea. It must be noted that the aforementioned resolution is irrelevant to the current Parliament. Therefore, the current parliament can easily reverse this scandalous decision.
