Turkish President Sends A Message To U.S. President

Turkish President Abdullah Gul sent a message to U.S. President Barack Obama and expressed his concerns about recent attempts to include a resolution on the Armenianallegations regarding the incidents of 1915 in agenda of the U.S. House of Representatives.

President Gul sent the message about the resolution labelling the 1915 incidents as genocide, to the U.S. President through diplomatic channels. 

He expressed his concerns about likely impacts of those attempts on the future of Turkey-the USA relations. 

"We expect President Obama not to allow this issue to affect Turkey-the USA relations," he said in his message.
