Interview with Azerbaikani Parliament deputy Gular Ahmadova.
Q: As is known, you have visited the Turkish Igdir. Can you tell about the meetings you held during this trip?
A: Our trip to Igdir dated to commemoration of national leader Heydar Aliyev. I thanked the Turkish side for the fact that one of the best educational facilities of this country, a high school in the city of Igdir, which trains 500 students, is named in honor of the national leader of Azerbaijan, an outstanding personality of the Turkic world, Heydar Aliyev. Deputy of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Ali Guner, played a significant role in the naming of the college after Heydar Aliyev. As you know, Heydar Aliyev opened a new phase in the Turkish-Azerbaijani relations. Our cooperation, based on his immortal utterance "One nation - two states", is now well under way. Heydar Aliyev always took into account the interests of Turkey. He said that if Turkey did not participate in projects implemented by us, then we will not participate either. The "Contract of the Century" is a glaring example. In the first version of this agreement the share of Turkey was less than 2 percent. However, at the initiative of Heydar Aliyev, this figure was raised to 6.5 percent. Then with the development of the Shah Deniz field, the share became 9 percent. And the fact that a high school in the town of Igdir was named after Heydar Aliyev is a tribute to his blessed memory. In order to contribute to the strengthening of brotherhood between our peoples, we handed books on the role of Heydar Aliyev in the development of the modern Azerbaijani state, the history of Azerbaijan, folklore and art of our nation, about the Genocide of Armenians in Khojaly to the library of this college. In general, during this trip I saw the sincerity and firmness of the brotherhood of the Azerbaijani and Turkish peoples, the need for comprehensive development of relations between our countries, new projects, participation in which could involve representatives of all sectors of our countries, including journalists of both Azerbaijan and Turkey.
Q: How does the Turkish society view the prospect of opening the Turkish-Armenian border?
A: As is known, through Igdir, which is an important part of the Turkic world and the Caucasus, lies the Turkish-Armenian border, the opening of which is desirable for Armenians of the world, seeking to pull Armenia from self-imposed isolation and economic swamp into which it drove itself only because of its persistent ideology of hatred toward Azerbaijanis and Turks. This is a road to nowhere. In other words, we cannot hope to build a happy and developed future for Armenia without establishing good-neighborly atmosphere throughout our region. And for this Armenia as a state that waived the ideology of hatred toward the Turks and Azerbaijanis needs to disavow mythical "genocide", comply with international law and withdraw from the occupied Azerbaijani territory. Otherwise, the Turkish-Armenian border will not be opened, and Armenia is doomed to increasing slipping into a swamp of problems. This position is shared by the Turkish side. As a confirmation of what I can tell that together with the head of the International Centre for Diaspora (IDC) of Azerbaijan Ismail Agayev, we met with representatives of various Turkish parties. During this meeting we signed a resolution on the need to consolidate efforts in the struggle with the recognition in the fictional "genocide" in the world and the occupation of Azerbaijani territories by Armenia. The text of the resolution is sent to the leadership of Azerbaijan and Turkey.
Q: Is the Igdir population informed about the reasons and outcomes of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno Karabakh?
A: During our visit to Igdir, we had a meeting with the people who survived in the atrocities of the Armenian nationalists, who were forced to leave the historical Azerbaijani territories, which include Erivan khanate, now called Armenia. They all share our position which lies in demonstrating the true face of Armenians of the world, which is synonymous with brutality, to the world community. Another synonym for the Armenians is their progressive disease, infectious for new generations of the representatives of these people, regardless of their place of residence, the disease called "the dreams of Great Armenia from sea to sea’. "This disease is growing infectious in Armenia that led to the increase in their impudence and claims. This proves the progressive atrophy of conscience and the ability to perceive reality.
Q: How to cure this disease?
A: There is a science - genetics. So it tells us that aggression and friendliness, the genialness and dementia, autism or extroversion is defined primarily genetically. This has not yet been proved scientifically, but personally I am convinced that loyalty and betrayal are also transmitted genetically. And the behavior of the Armenians of the world shows that they do everything for treason, as necessary to achieve the delusions of Armenians, to be handed down from generation to generation of Armenians. A trip to history allows us to recall that there was the anti-Ottoman subversion of the Armenian revolutionary groups from the beginning to the end of World War I, which grew into an armed rebellion against the legitimate government of Ottoman Turkey, with the aim of forming of the Armenian state in the land with predominantly Turkish population .
This was an open fact of betrayal of the Armenians against the state, empire, the people who gave them the opportunity to live on their territory, and live very well. It took only seven decades and we saw that just as well, Armenians living in the ancient Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh betrayed us and our people. They began voicing separatist demands, and rose against the territorial integrity of the state where live in clover, like in case with the Ottoman empire. Moreover, the occupation of Azerbaijani territories involved Armenians, earlier termed the citizens of our country, and the current president of Armenia, as a citizen of Azerbaijan, took an active part in the genocide of Azerbaijani civilians in Khojaly. As you can see, the gene of betrayal will come out one day. And without eliminating the gene of betrayal, we not expect changes in the position of world Armenians.
