E-mail Print PDF

The main external threat to Turkey comes from the United States. This is confirmed by the results of a survey conducted by sociologists at Kadir Has University, Turkey, RIA Novosti reported.

According to the survey, 67, 8% of respondents believe that the U.S. bears the greatest threat for Turkey. Israel is in the second place with 51% of survey participants, followed by Iran at 9, 6%. Thus Armenia, with whom Turkey has no diplomatic relations, was not in the top three.
The survey was conducted among the thousands of respondents, in 26 of the 81 provinces of Turkey.

Almost half of respondents (44, 3%) consider ineffective the foreign policy conducted by the Turkish government and 32, 1% of respondents call it successful.
