Armenia to Boycott Activity Of PACE Sub-Committee On Nagorno Karabakh

The Armenian delegation will boycott the formation of sub-committee on Nagorno Karabakh in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe’s (PACE) winter session, said member of delegation Naira Zohrabyan,  PanARMENIAN reported.

She said issues regarding Armenia wouldn’t be discussed at the winter session and added that they will take active part in the session: “As you know, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, who will assume chairmanship in the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, jointly with PACE President Mevlut Cavusoglu will try to take the advantage for restoration of the PACE subcommittee on Nagorno Karabakh. If they succeed the Armenian delegation will boycott the committee’s activity”.

Armenian parliamentarian also said that she was planning to ask some questions to Turkish President Abdullah Gul regarding the Armenian national interests, Nagorno Karabakh and Armenian refugees from Azerbaijan.
