Armenian, Azerbaijani Ministers To Meet On 24 January

The Armenian, Azerbaijani and Russian foreign ministers are to meet on 24 January in an attempt to make progress on settling the Karabakh conflict.

Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian announced the date for the Moscow meeting today.

He said that a meeting with the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, mediating a solution to the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh, was planned for early February.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said yesterday that Moscow would continue its efforts to resolve the conflict, as a Minsk Group co-chair,

The three foreign ministers last met on 9 December in Moscow.
