The dialogue between Armenia and Turkey commenced after the signing of the Armenian-Turkish Protocols has to be continued, the Turkish-based organization of intellectuals, scholars and retired generals, Board of Wise Man, has said, Vatan newspaper reported.
According to the Turkish publication, the organization has published a report on the normalization of Armenia-Turkey relations.
The document calling for the strengthening bilateral trust particularly focuses on the implementation of the following clauses:
1. Opening the border on Christian holidays
2. Offering Armenian students university scholarships in Turkey
3. Opening chairs of Armenian language and Armenian literature at Turkish universities
4. Turning the town of Ani into a cultural centre
5. Issuing permits for the entry of trucks into the Turkish territory
6. Exploring opportunities for representing Armenian products on the Turkish market and making money transfers
Board of Wise Men organization is headed by retired admiral Salim Dervisoglu and his deputies, a retired ambassador Ilter Turkme, and a former chair of Turkey's cassation court, Sami Selcuk.
