Armenian, Azerbaijani Businesswomen To Meet At Istanbul-Hosted Conference

Armenian and Azerbaijani businesswomen to participate in Istanbul conference.

Businesswomen from Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as Georgia, Greece, Cyprus and Turkey will gather for a conference to be held in Istanbul Jan. 24-26, Today’s Zaman reported.

About 125 businesswomen seeking for new ideas to expand their business will participate in the “Invest for the Future: Women Driving Economic Growth” conference organized by the US State Department in collaboration with the Women Entrepreneurs Association of Turkey. Each county will be represented by 20 participants, including Turkey, North Cyprus and Greek Cyprus.

Conference’s objective is to develop cooperation between businesswomen in the Eurasia region by launching educational workshops and conferences. After the conference participants will present their business projects on the conference website, whereas Women Entrepreneurs Association will consider the projects and give recommendations to overcome obstacles when launching a new business.
