Karabakh Conflict Settlement To Be Raised At Abu Dhabi's OIC Session

Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement to be raised at 13th session of OIC Member States` Parliamentary Union.

Settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict will be raised again at the 13th session of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States to be held on January 16-19 in Abu Dhabi.

Azerbaijan`s delegation in the organization has prepared a document on the issue. According to the document, the fact that no progress has been achieved towards settlement of the conflict, and Azerbaijani territories are still under occupation causes concern.

In the session, the Azerbaijani delegation will demand that Armenia must unconditionally withdraw from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijani refugees and IDPs must return to their native lands in accordance with all humanitarian norms.

A clase on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is expected to be included in an Abu Dhabi declaration to be adopted at the end of the session.
