E-mail Print PDF

Armenia’s statements show that the invader-country continues its non-constructive position and tries to overshadow the committee’s activity”.

“Azerbaijani side was making serious efforts for restoration of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe’s (PACE) Subcommittee on Nagorno Karabakh and these efforts brought results within the organization’s winter session. I think with restoration of the Subcommittee, the Council of Europe showed that it is successively addressing this problem and using mechanism for fulfillment of its principles”, vice speaker of the Azerbaijani parliament Bahar Muradova told New Azerbaijan Party’s (YAP) website.

Muradova said it was priority for the Azerbaijani side to work with the Council of Europe and its relevant structures in all directions, including settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. She said the Azerbaijani side would carry out all actions depending on itself that this committee fulfills all of its duties.

“Our country will use all opportunities created by this committee to keep the Nagorno Karabakh problem on the Council of Europe’s agenda as one of the important issues. But Armenian delegation is against this committee and intends to avoid its work. Armenia’s statements show that the invader-country continues its non-constructive position and tries to overshadow the committee’s activity”.
