Head of Azerbaijani Parliament’s delegation to PACE takes stance on Armenian statement about boycott of activity of Subcommittee on Nagorno Karabakh.

'The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) passed decision about establishment of Subcommittee on Nagorno Karabakh, there is no need to speak about it', head of Azerbaijani parliament’s delegation to PACE Samad Seyidov said while taking stance on statements about that Armenia will boycott the work of this committee:

'As of any statements made by Armenia, we hear different statements for 10 years. I think that the Subcommittee will have more chances to bring realities about Nagorno Karabakh to notice of European society. That is why activity of this committee is very important for Europe, for Council of Europe.

Armenian side must be interested in work of the Subcommittee. We want to solve the conflict in a peaceful way, through negotiations. We want to convey realities openly, it will be at least illogicality to refuse it. And that is why I do not believe the reports correspond to reality. Maybe Armenia makes statements in this direction, but nonparticipation in the activity of this committee may damage reputation of Armenia and its delegation'.
