New Turkic-American Online Advocacy System Lauched In The U.S.

On February 3, 2011, the Pax Turcica Institute (PTI), Azerbaijan Society of America (ASA) and Azerbaijani-American Council (AAC) launched a professional online advocacy system.

The new Pax Turcica advocacy system enables the members of Azerbaijani and Turkic diaspora communities in the U.S. to instantly email or fax action letters to U.S. Congressmen, Senators, other elected public officials as well as to local media outlets in the U.S.

 

The first letter campaign under this system is dedicated to the upcoming 19th anniversary of Khojaly Massacre. The campaign letter asks the U.S. legislators for remarks on the Congressional floor regarding the Khojaly war crime. In just two days since the start of campaign, over 350 letters were sent out by the community to U.S. public officials and media.
