Veteran US Congressman Ed Towns has promised his support to Turkic Word’s interest at the Congress.
Congressman Towns, who represents New York City at the US House, where he serves as Chairman of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, met with US based Turkish Diaspora leaders, APA was informed by Congressman’s representative.
He said, Turkic interests and influences throughout the country are raised, year by year.
Touching upon the Armenians’ campaigns against Turks in California, Congressman reminded that, it doesn’t change Americans’ attitude at all.
“I will keep my support to Turkey and Turks by standing against Armenians’ Genocide draft in the Congress”, he stressed.
