“Armenian Genocide” Propaganda Leads to Clash Between Turks and Armenians in Beirut

Clashes between representatives of the Armenian community and Turkish entrepreneurs broke out during a textile exhibition in Beirut, Armenia based News.am reported.

A group of young Armenians handed out booklets, accusing Turkey of committing crimes in English and Arabic to visitors of the exhibition.

Turkish businessmen intervened to stop the propaganda against Turkey and a clash broke out between two groups.

Turkish Cihan agency reported that many Armenian youth were detained while one Turkish entrepreneur was hospitalized following the clashes.
