E-mail Print PDF

'The OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs decided that any progress must be reached toward the solution to Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict'.

The statement came from Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov.

The minister said leaders of the co-chair countries issued a statement in Canada last year and it must be fulfilled:

'The work is continued on this issue. All co-chair countries are almost ready. They are working to reach a progress. First direction is that the Armenian troops are withdrawn from the occupied lands of Azerbaijan'.

Regarding the upcoming visit of the presidents in Sochi, Mammadyarov said any result of this meeting would depend on the Armenia’s position.
