'International community must raise trust on Armenia for peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict'.

The statement came from chief of the international relations department of the presidential administration of the country Novruz Mammadov.

'If the world community and the organizations do not want war and want to settle this conflict peacefully, they should raise pressure on Armenia in this issue. For this reason, advancement in the resolution of the Karabakh conflict depends on Yerevan’s position at the upcoming Saturday meeting of the presidents of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia', said official of the presidential administration.

He said official Yerevan should realize that the Nagorno Karabakh territories must be liberated. And in this sense, it is important to continue negotiations and intensify meetings.

Chief of the department for international relations said Armenia’s rejection of its nonconstructive position will open new opportunities for it.

'If these lands are liberated, while refugees return to Nagorno Karabakh and adjacent regions, the situation may change, the relations may change, communication will open, along with the Turkish border with Armenia', Mammadov said adding that the results of the Karabakh return will assist Armenia in finding a way out of the economic crisis.

According to Mammadov, the statements of official Baku about the forced settlement of the conflict must not be surprising for the world community. It is often connected with the absence of exact information about the state of the conflict of foreign politicians and diplomats, he added.

'Experts, familiar with the history of the Karabakh conflict, know it well that Armenia is an occupier, while Azerbaijan is a party subjected to occupation. Armenia must withdraw its troops from the occupied lands of Azerbaijan and the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan must be restored', the presidential administration official told Lider TV channel.
