People are leaving Armenia in droves, according to a local newspaper.
Not only families and dynasties but entire villages are leaving the country, Chorrord Inknishkhanutyun newspaper reported.
People have so much luggage at Zvarnots airport that it looks as though they have no attention of returning home any time soon.
Visa fees have also gone up recently. A bribe for a Schengen visa used to be $3,000, but now it's gone up to 5,000 euros, the newspaper said.
One of the visa departments at the Armenian National Security Service is actively "involved in this". Officials from this department control these deals, setting minimum and maximum prices.
