The child was brought to hospital but doctors were unable to rescue him.
On 8 March 2010 eight-year-old resident of Orta Gervend village of Agdam Fariz Badalov was killed in the result of ceasefire violation by the Armenian-occupied Shikhlar village, as he was playing near his house.
The child was brought to hospital but doctors were unable to rescue him.
On the next day, while commenting on this information, spokesman for Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry, colonel-lieutenant Eldar Sabiroglu said the murder was committed by Armenian snipers.
“Armenian armed forces have made it a habit to fire at the settlements and at civilians. The last bright example is the murder of the eight-year-old Azerbaijani boy by Armenian servicemen.
It occurred on 8 March, when resident of the Orta Gervend village, Badalov Fariz was killed at 16.58 from the Shihlar village, occupied by the Armenians of the Agdam region”, Sabiroglu said.
The violation of ceasefire from the Armenian side is no longer surprising. In the last month the Armenian occupational troops committed more than 50 cases of violation of this shaky regime, wounding two Azerbaijani soldiers in February alone. Two more soldiers died. The same number suffered and died in January.
But while it is possible to imagine the soldiers’ death on the front line despite the whole sorrow, the death of a child killed by a sniper is inadmissible, regardless of the state of the process of the resolution of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict.
Undoubtedly, such a crime can be committed solely by an abnormal person with an ill mind and maniacal inclinations. How else can we explain the fact that the child was killed by a sniper, who certainly was waiting for a favorable moment and thoroughly targeting the head of an ordinary Azerbaijani boy?
In fact, the presence of such perversions within the Armenian army (including sexual harassment by officers) was made public not only in Armenia but also throughout the world. Even Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan is declared associated with sexual scandals, violence and other lawlessness in the Armenian army.{sharethis}
One of the culmination moments has become the wounding of Armenian soldiers by their fellows, combined with the abuse of weak young guys.
This proves the progressing immorality within the Armenian army, the logical end of which is the cases of deliberate murder of Azerbaijani children (head shooting by a sniper).
It is noteworthy that in February the number of cases of breaking ceasefire by the Armenian doubled over January. Such developments in anticipation of the presidential meeting in Sochi prove that certain powers in Armenia are trying to strain the situation and again frustrate the negotiation process.
This was indicated in the statement of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.
“Armenia’s state is further worsening. Every time either before or after negotiations at the highest level some forces in Armenia are trying to frustrate them by different provocations. It has already become a tradition.
If we look into the chronology of meetings, we would find the complete evidence to this. During the meeting of the presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia in Sochi Armenians violated ceasefire in 10 directions firing at Azerbaijani positions from machine and submachine guns.
It would be a mistake to consider this a coincidence. We cannot deny the role of the Armenian government and military leadership in these events. Everything occurs at their direct instruction. It is not new to anyone. The countries interested in peace settlement of this conflict, including the Minsk Group co-chairs, must treat Armenia’s unconstructive activity with greater attention. Otherwise, everything may change in a single moment and it would be difficult to stop it”, the statement says.
It is really easy to understand who is behind such a situation. The promotion of the negotiation process is unfavorable primarily for the Karabakh clan which is at power in Armenia, headed with President Sargsyan.
Raised to the pedestal of power on the wave of semi-Chauvinist nationalism, the “Karabakhis” have long been building their power solely on focusing internal hatred on the external enemy in the face of Azerbaijan. Meanwhile, today Sargsyan and his team are to a certain extent hostages of the created architecture of power whose integral part is the presence of the Karabakh conflict and hatred to Azerbaijanis.
This is the hatred which originates from the past of Armenia’s current ‘bosses’, who have a hand in the murder of Azerbaijani civilians. Here it would be timely to recall Sargsyan’s statement which has become a legend that the murders in Khojaly were demonstrative and aimed at intimidation of the Azerbaijani side.
“Before Khojaly, Azerbaijanis thought they can kid with us, they thought we are raise a hand on civilians. But we managed to break this stereotype. Here what has happened”, he told in an interview with journalist Thomas de Vaal.
Here is the way the current Armenian president justified the murder of children, pregnant women and elderly people.
Is there any sense of appealed to the humanity of those who created the terrible system, hating humanity and sympathy? We think no. In this sense the greater responsibility is laid on the world community, which is doing its best to prevent Azerbaijan from resuming war to restore its territorial integrity.
But it is important to remember that the limit of patience and political will to continue talks is also not endless. How long will they continue senseless monitoring, which make no serious conclusions? How can we believe OSCE Minsk Group, if the results of the fact-finding mission, which visited the occupied lands in the first half of October (!!!) have not been declared yet? Initially they promised to publish them in the beginning of 2011, but them reports about declaring them in February appeared… It is already March, while no results have come out…
In this case, what do we have? Armenia, torpedoing the negotiation process and shooting not only at Azerbaijani soldiers, but also at children with sniper rifles; the OSCE Minsk Group holding senseless monitoring on the contact line and assessment missions with results never reported… The co-chairs, resembling the tourists, and the indifference of the superpowers, provoking Armenia for further impudence and lawlessness…
“Azerbaijani armed forces did not respond though it was difficult for them but they did it in order not to strain the situation on the front. We were obliged to do this in order not to turn the commitments on paper into a lie, unlike Armenians… But child murderers should know that such inhumane crimes always have grave implications”, spokesman for the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry Eldar Sabiroglu said while commenting on the murder of the Azerbaijani boy.
The world community, certainly, may hope for Azerbaijan’s patience and good intentions to settle the conflict peacefully.
But will this patience last long and who will bear responsibility for the further developments, when the patience of the Azerbaijani people is exhausted-these questions are rhetoric.
The answer is clear-the responsibility will be laid not only on those who brought up a whole generation of Armenians in the hatred towards neighbors, but also those who turned a blind eye on this from high tribunes.
