The ruling New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) strongly condemns the killing of a young child by the Armenians. The NAP has made a statement on this issue.
"The resident of Orta Gervend village of Aghdam region Bedelov Fariz, 9, was killed by the fire opened by a sniper from the direction of Shikhlar village on March 8. The Armenian side violated ceasefire and committed such a brutal action three days after Azerbaijani, Russian and Armenian presidents met in Sochi and signed a statement. This is the proof of their insincerity in the peace talks, their centuries-long hatred and genocide policy against our people. This action once more fixed the brand of child killer on the Armenian army," the statement says.
"Unfortunately, Azerbaijani people witnessed Armenians' crimes against humanity during Khojaly tragedy, when Armenians killed tens of children. Killing of a nine-year-old child by Armenian servicemen once more proves that social life in Armenia is covered by the ideology of fascism and terrorism has reached the level of state policy. New Azerbaijan Party condemns such bloody actions of Armenians, calls upon the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs, the world community to express unbiased opinion and say "stop" to the Armenian aggression and killers of children," the statement says.
