E-mail Print PDF

"As vice-speaker of the Azerbaijani parliament I address Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and his wife: dissuade your people from child murderers," vice-speaker of the Azerbaijani parliament Bahar Muradova said at the parliament’s meeting.

Bahar Muradova mentioned the incident, when Fariz Badalov was killed by an Armenian sniper in Orta Gervend village of Aghdam region several days ago. Vice-speaker said it happened on March 8 – International Women’s Day, on the eve of Nowruz holiday.

"It happened after the Sochi meeting of the presidents. Not a serviceman, but a nine-year-old child was killed. I address OSCE Chairman-in-Office, who is on visit to Azerbaijan. How long will you support Armenia? Every time when we raise these issues, they speak about the confidence between the sides. How can we confide in the opposite side after they killed an innocent child?" she said.

Addressing the Azerbaijani women Bahar Muradova asked them to light a candle on Nowruz holiday to commemorate the persons killed for Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity.
