Turkey Should Resolve Problems With Armenia – Turkish Deputy PM

E-mail Print PDF

Turkey has problems with Armenia and will do everything possible to resolve them, the Turkish deputy prime minister has said.

"We have problems with Armenia. We are willing to settle those problems because Armenia has the following significance to us – a great number of Armenians inhabited our lands in the past; they built our palaces. They used to be our riches," Bulent Arinc told the Leaders of Change Summit in Istanbul, according to the Turkish news agency Dogan.

"With the departure of Armenians we lost our riches," he added.
