Georgia is not closely following the situation around the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, a Georgian expert said.

“I think the possibility of new shocks is not high,” head of the international center for geopolitical and regional studies George Tarkhan-Mouravi said in Yerevan.

He noted that Armenia and Azerbaijan possess enough tools to prevent possible escalation. “The sides should seek compromise. As far as I understand, the problem is the lack of guarantees, mutual trust and good will,” he said.
