An incident occurred at Paris Book Fair. APA reports quoting Turkish media that the incident was committed by a group of Armenians.
The book “2000-year history of Turks” exhibited at the Turkish stand caused Armenians’ protest. The book was distributed by the organizers of the fair. It contained historical facts on “Armenian genocide” claims.
Armenians attacked the Turkish stand and pasted “No to denial!” label on the books. The members of the Nor Serount Association left the hall chanting slogan “No to denial of Armenian genocide!”.
Turkish ambassador to Paris Tahsin Burcuoglu demanded the French government to issue a written statement concerning the incident.
