Germany Holds Action Against Murder Of Azerbaijani Child

The Azerbaijani diaspora in Germany held a protest action in front of the Brandenburg Gate in central Berlin due to a 9-year-old child Fariz Badalov killed by Armenian sniper, the State Committee on Diaspora told Trend.

The protest action was held by the Coordinating Center of Azerbaijanis in Germany within the cooperation with the "House of Azerbaijan" . The representatives of the Azerbaijani and Turkish Diaspora, pupils of football school operating with the support of the Azerbaijani Association of Football Federations under the "House of Azerbaijan " and representatives of the Jewish Diaspora.

 

The participants read out their statement i n Azerbaijani and German.

The statement was read by representatives of the Coordination Center of Azerbaijanis in Germany, "House of Azerbaijan" , the Azerbaijani-German S olidarity Society , the Federation of Azerbaijani societ ies , the Azerbaijani-German Cultural Society of Saxony-Anhalt, Dresden society "Alm.Az" .

It was sent with a photo of Fariz Badalov to the Bundestag committee on human rights and humanitarian assistance and on EU issues, as well as five major factions of the German parliament.

This statement was also sent to the UNICEF office in Germany, the public and private funds of the country, representatives of the German public via e-mail .

The 9-year-old resident of the Orta Garvand village in the Agdam region was killed on March 8 as a result of a ceasefire violation by Armenian troops. Badalov was shot in the head while playing in his yard. He was taken to hospital, but doctors failed to save his life.
