'OSCE Report Reflects Everything Vaguely'

E-mail Print PDF

Political scientist Fikrat Sadikhov commented on report of the field Fact-finding mission of OSCE Minsk Group to Armenian occupied Azerbaijani lands.

'The late report of the OSCE mission has shown that some circumstances forced the co-chairs to work much to make it ‘balanced’. Otherwise, we cannot explain the fact that the report reflects everything vaguely without indicating definite reasons and those responsible for the illegal settlement of Armenians and continued stealth of natural wealth in the occupied Azerbaijani lands. And we hope to see a realistic report, but this did not happen.

There are some positive moments in the report of the mission: this is the recognition of the fact of occupation of Azerbaijani regions, confirmation of the occupied policy of illegal settlement fo these lands by Armenia', Sadikhov said.

'The biggest minus is that the mission did not clarify from where the Armenian migrants have come from and why they do not have identification certificates. The source of money for infrastructural projects and illegal settlement of occupied lands is not specified, though it is known that money of foreign Armenian diaspora and businessmen.

The report of the mission does not indicate numerous facts of terminating cultural and historical monuments, mosques and infrastructure in the occupied Azerbaijani lands. It is not indicated that the Armenian side created campuses for training international terrorists, grow drugs and commit drug trafficking in other countries', the political scientist.
