E-mail Print PDF

Armenian Ministry of Defence hosted a ceremonial event in celebration of April 7 Motherhood and Beauty Day.

An exhibition of photos, paintings, silverware and Armenian carpets was held within the framework of the event, followed by a screening of a film portraying life experiences of the servicemen and their families.

During the event, Armenian Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan addressed his greetings to women. As he noted, though the hostilities in Karabakh conflict zone were ceased, the war is not over, with Baku continuing to violate the ceasefire. Still, he stressed, Armenian authorities are taking every effort to secure safe military service for soldiers.
