E-mail Print PDF

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmed Davutoglu, who participated in PACE spring session as the head of CE Committee of Ministers, expressed his attitude to Armenia’s plans to build Airport in the occupied Azerbaijani territories, APA reported.

In response to a member of the Azerbaijani delegation Rafael Huseynov’s question on this issue, Turkish foreign minister said that the theme of the airport was not discussed at the Committee of Ministers. At this time the OSCE Minsk Group deals with this. "If there is a need, then surely we can discuss this issue",- he said.

”As head of the Turkish Foreign Ministry I would like to note that such provocative actions will not serve to promote the peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict. For to accelerate peace talks held between Azerbaijani and Armenian Presidents, Armenia have to stop such provocative steps”, Turkish FM Ahmed Davutoglu said.
