Turkey Demands Iran To Ban Screening of Documentary Based on Armenian Allegations

Turkish Organization for Fighting Against Baseless Armenian Allegations (ASIMDER) demands Iranian authorities to ban screening of Armin Wegner- Genocide Photographer film due April 24 in Tehran, PanArmenian.net reported.

“We demand to ban the screening of the film in Tehran. We can’t allow for the film to harm Turkey-Iran relations,” the letter issued by ASIM-DER to Iranian Consulate-General in Erzurum runs, according to haber3.

On April 24, Tehran will host the screening of Tigran Khzmalyan’s Armin Wegner- Genocide Photographer film. Members of the Armenian community as well as Iranian parliamentarians will attend the screening. The movie will be broadcast on one of Iranian TV channels
