Azerbaijani MP Malahat Ibrahimgizi said some pro-Armenian forces attempt to mitigate this document.
Azerbaijani delegation will make efforts to put up the draft resolution on Nagorno Karabakh for discussion at the plenary session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Varna, Bulgaria in May, member of the Azerbaijani delegation to NATO PA Malahat Ibrahimgizi said.
The parliamentarian said the draft resolution was made last year, but the Azerbaijani delegation could not attend the autumn session of NATO PA because of the parliamentary elections in the country.
At that time Azerbaijan insisted on removing the draft resolution from the agenda of the Assembly and it was included into the agenda of the spring session.
Malahat Ibrahimgizi said the Azerbaijani side prepared some annexes to the resolution, she added that they are making efforts so that Armenia is called an aggressor in the proposed annexes. The parliamentarian did not go into the details.
'We are working towards its inclusion into the agenda of the spring session. We want NATO Parliamentary Assembly to express position on this issue,' she said.
Malahat Ibrahimgizi said some pro-Armenian forces attempt to mitigate this document.
The draft resolution prepared by Canadian rapporteur Raynell Andreychuk in 2010 consists of six items, the draft covers the occupation of Azerbaijani territories by Armenia.
