Terrorist Threats Of ASALA Should Draw Int’l Attention

E-mail Print PDF

To begin with, ASALA has never stopped its activities.

Another thing is that after notorious terrorist attacks that the organization committed in Europe in the 70s and 80s of last century, it wore a mask PKK - the Kurdish terrorist organization, which continued to hold rallies against the civilian population of Turkey, thus attempting to exert pressure on Ankara.

Apparently, now ASALA thinks that it is time to intensify their terrorist activities to draw attention to the so-called "Armenian question ".

These remarks were made by Asim Mollazade, chairman of the Democratic Reforms Party, MP, while commenting on reports that Turkey’s Foreign Ministry and National Intelligence Service are investigating the reports about the threats made by the Secret Army for Liberation of Armenia (ASALA).

The reports about the terrorist threats from ASALA should draw attention of world community especially U.S. who fight global terrorist threat.

He recalled that Turkey is a NATO member and therefore the threat towards diplomats of that country should be discussed to study ways to counteract the Armenian terrorism by all member states of NATO.
