Armenian Government 'in Uncertainty'

E-mail Print PDF

Armenia filed a petition in the UN, but then withdrew it back.

Armenian delegation refuses to get involved with the work of the PACE Sub-committee on Nagorno-Karabakh as Yerevan understands it very well that any public debates about the Karabakh issue reveal the essence of Armenia as an aggressor country.

The statement came from Rasim Musabeyov, political expert, member of the Azerbaijani Parliament, the Milli Majlis.

'Obviously, they always try to avoid this kind of discussions. However, Armenia does not seem to be passive in issues related to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict,' the expert said.

Due to rather complicated internal political situation, the Armenian government is in uncertainty and is forced to act cautiously, the expert noted.

'Armenia filed a petition in the UN, but then withdrew it back. I think the reason is that they understood they will fail to gather even the minimum number of votes in support of their position,' the MP added.
