Bryza: Some Progress in Karabakh Conflict

E-mail Print PDF
'I feel that there is some progress in the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict'.

Commenting on the negotiations on Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement and the expected summer meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian presidents the US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Matthew Bryza said that: 'If such meeting takes place, then perhaps the foreign ministers will meet prior to it and decide the remaining issues.'

Bryza reminded that he is co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group and he has no specific information about the date of presidents’ meeting.

Recall, as Russia co-chair of OSCE Minsk Group Igor Popov previously announced, the meeting of the presidents of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement is expected in the summer.
